More than 9,000 delegations flock to General Vo Nguyen Giap's grave in July
(Quang Binh Portal) - On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27), hundreds of people visited and offered incense to General Vo Nguyen Giap"s grave in Vung Chua, Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district. On July 27th alone, more than 2,600 people paid a tribute to the General"s grave.

According to captain Dong Thanh Hai, head of the guard team at General Vo Nguyen Giap's grave, 9,381 delegation with 140,205 people across the country burnt incense and flowers in commemoration of General Vo Nguyen Giap in July, raising total number of delegations up to 363,148 with 4,759,721 people for visiting.
In order to facilitate people to visit the General, the Provincial Border Guard Command has mobilized forces to serve tourists, overcome all difficulties to ensure order and safety for tourists while waiting in line to burn incense to the General Vo Nguyen Giap's grave in order to express their deep gratitude to the nation's hero.
