28 scholarships give strength to poor new students in Quang Binh
(Quang Binh Portal) - 28 new undergraduate students with difficult backgrounds in Quang Binh province were presented scholarships at an event titled “Tiep suc den truong” (Give strength to students) held by Tuoi Tre Newspaper on August 30.

The organizing board presents scholarships to new students from Quang Binh, Ha Tinh, Nghe An and Thanh Hoa at the "For tomorrow's development" programme.
Each scholarship, worth VND7 million (US$308), was given to poor students who face hardships to pursuing education.
Launched 15 years ago, the programme “Tiep suc den truong” has given scholarships to more than 15,000 new undergraduate students under difficult circumstances nationwide.
In 2017 only, the programme presented scholarships to nearly 1,700 new students with difficult backgrounds with a total donation of more than VND13 billion.
