At the meeting, representative of Vingroup Company presented a proposal to implement the investment project for development of an urban area with smart, high-class, integrating many modern technologies, creating a highlight corresponding to potential and development of Dong Hoi city. Accordingly, the project has an area of over 33 hectares in Bac Ly ward, in which the West borders the residential area next to Ly Thanh Tong street, the South borders the residential area and the East, the North borders Cau Rao river. The project will have high-rise buildings, villas, parks, schools, etc. According to Vingroup's representative, this is a modern and model urban area for existing urban areas in Quang Binh province and other neighboring provinces.

Based on the plan of Vingroup, representatives of departments, agencies and localities had many ideas related to the implementation of connecting traffic routes to create a synchronization between the project implementation area and Dong Hoi city master plan project; open one more road linking this urban area with the sea; attaching importance to ensure the drainage system; consider to be able to expand the project area and scale.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Vingroup Company to review and adjust the planning in project implementation area appropriately; focus on researching the drainage plan to avoid flooding after construction; expanding traffic routes in the Project area; arranging rational parking to avoid traffic jams; ensuring fast construction time ... Besides, he also requested Vingroup Company will actively coordinate with the province in completing legal procedures in accordance with the law to early deploy the Project, contributing to create a highlight for Dong Hoi city.
