This was announced by the provincial Tourism Department at a conference held in Hanoi on June 25-26, to announce the province’s planning and investment promotion plan for 2023.

During the conference, exhibitions were held to introduce delegates to the province’s natural landscape, culture, people, typical tourist products and souvenirs.

The provincial Tourism Department also organised meetings with travel businesses, to seek cooperation and investment opportunities.

Notably, the province inked a cooperation agreement with Hanoi municipal Tourism, to jointly develop tourist products and boost the number of visitors from Hanoi to Quang Binh and vice versa.

The two localities also agreed to coordinate digital transformation, human resource training, and State management in tourism.

In addition, the Quang Binh provincial hospitality sector has implemented communication campaigns on social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Zalo, to lure more visitors to the locality, aiming to realise its target of welcoming from 1 million to 1.5 million tourists in the coming time.
