TRAVELLING TOURS ON THE RIVERS LEADING TO PHONG NHA - KE BANG

1. Proiect goals and project items:

- Establishment of tours for exploring Son River and Phong Nha - Ke Bang Cave by river way;

- Procurement of equipment for transporting travelers who visit Phong Nha - Ke Bang by river way while enjoying countryside scenery on the two sides of Gianh river and Son river;

- Investment items include:

+ Procurement of passenger boats;

+ Development of traffic infrastructure, mooring berth;

+ Development of boat stops for sightseeing;

+ Construction of operating house.

2. Project location:

- Location: The Son river and Gianh river tour to explore Phong Nha - Ke Bang Cave starts at Gianh Bridge, crossing communes of Quang Van and Quang Minh of Ba Don town, and communes of Lien Trach, Hung Trach and Son Trach of Bo Trach district;

- The Son river (also called Troc river) is a tributary of Gianh river in the North Central Vietnam, completely located in the territory of Quang Binh province. Part of the river has a length of 7,729 meters, flowing underground through limestone mountains in the west of Quang Binh. The river merges with the Gianh river near Ba Don town.
