Attending the incense-offering ceremony were Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong, leaders of the central ministries and departments; Permanent Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Luong Ngoc Binh; Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Lam Phuong and leaders of the Party Executive Committee, Government, Front and unions at all levels of Quang Binh province.

In the resistance war against the invaders, thousands of cadres, soldiers, volunteers, conscripted laborers and ethnic minority people… worked selflessly and fought with fortitude for the sake of the country. Road No.20 Quyet Thang, an important road in support of the Southern battlefield, was under the system of national level historical relics recognized at Decision No.236/VH/QD dated December 12 1986.

In order to commemorate heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of defending the Fatherland, the Party Committee and people of Quang Binh province promised that they would follow his/her examples and strive to build and defend the motherland more and more civilized and wealthy.
Knowing that on the occasion of the 61st anniversary of the Fallen Soldiers and War Invalids' Day, Deputy Prime Minister Truong Vinh Trong also paid a visit and granted gifts to some beneficiaries in Quang Trach district and Bo Trach district (Quang Binh province).
