Saigontourist brings Mid-Autumn joy to poor students
Saigontourist Holding Company held a charitable Mid-Autumn Festival for 1,400 poor hard-working students in Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue and Nghe An provinces and Danang City at the Saigon-Dong Ha Hotel in Da Krong District in Quang Tri Province last Sunday.
The company handed out 1,400 gifts including notebooks, boxes of pens, Mid-Autumn cakes, drinks, lanterns, hats and raincoats to the students. It also handed over 200 scholarships worth VND500,000 each for students.
This is the eighth year the company has organized a charitable Mid-Autumn Festival for poor students to express a community spirit for unprivileged children. This year’s festival was worth VND500 million.
