The ceremony was attended by Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien, Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Cong Thuat, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hoai, members of Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committtee, representatives of related agencies and units among others.

Cutting ribbons to open the seven-floor building of Vietnam - Cuba Donghoi Hospital

Start construction in October of 2010, the building has total capital of VND 450billion from the government's bond source. It covers an area of 17,600 s.q meters including emergency room, examination division, microbiology division, haematology division... and six modern operating rooms.

The seven floor building is equiped 180 inpatient beds and morden machines and equipement with a daily capacity of treating 700 to 800 patients.

The building will contribute to reduce the patients overload in the inpatient treatment area and the examination division of the hospital, meeting increasing demand for healthcare in the province and neigboring areas.

Speaking at the ceremony, Health Minister highly evaluated efforts in exammination and treatment of the Vietnam - Cuba Donghoi Hospital in the past time. She hoped the hospital would uphold spirit of solidarity, renovate attitude of service, meeting the demand of patients and promoting health development of the locality.

Minister of Health visits and presents gifts to patients at the hospital

On this occasion, Minister of Health awarded Certificate of Merit to collectives for their excellent achivements in constructing the building, paid a visit and presented gifts to patients who are treating at the hospital.
