Memorial service in tribute to fallen soldiers in Len Ha cave in 1972

Delivering the memorial service, on behalf of the provincial leader, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huu Hoai expressed his tribute to glorious victories and heroic sacrifices made by fallen soldiers in Len Ha cave in 1972.
During the war against America, Quang Binh is the land where was seriously destroyed by the US empire. Many older generations had laid down their life for the motherland and the cause of the Southern Liberation and National Reunification, including 13 soldiers of the Company 09, the regiment 134 of the Signal Arm with their silent victories and glorious sacrifices while they were on duty to ensure telecommunications in Len Ha Cave on July 2nd, 1972.

The memorial service aimed to reappear the history and relive memories of glorious victories and heroric sacrifices of 13 soldiers who died in Len Ha cave, expressing the moral philosophy "When drinking water, remember its source" and deep gratitudes of the Party, authority, army and people of Quang Binh to great contributions of heroic martyrs.
This was also an opportunity to educate younger generations on the national tradition of building a country of peace, independence, territorial integrity, wealth, and democracy.
On this occasion, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee thanked the Central agencies, including the Ministry of Information and Communication, Vietnam Television and the Information and Communication High Command for collaboration with Quang Binh province to successfully organize the ceremony.

A scene at live television program "Hello, this is A69"
At the stadium of Tuyen Hoa district, the memorial service in commemoration of fallen soldiers in Len Ha cave in 1972 was live broadcast on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television with many moved scenes. The live TV program "Hello, this is A69" was directed and conducted by the reporters and editors from VTV6 channel of Vietnam Television.
The program included the opening ceremony and a dialogue with historical witnesses as well as art performances and documemtary films which reppeared the history, especially moved stories reminded by witnesses of glorious memories and heroic sacrifices of 13 fallen soldiers in Len Ha cave in 1972.
