Province Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai checks the projects in Cha Lo International Border Gate Economic Zone
After going on an inspection tour about the implementation of some projects, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai and his delegation had a working session with the Management Board of the Economic Zones.
According to the report of the Cha Lo International Border Gate Economic Zone, in the first quarter of 2010, there was 38,713 people for exit and entry; import-export turnover achieved over 9.3 million USD, increased by 63% compared with the same period last year; tax collection reached 13 billion VND, increased by 66% compared with the same period; border security and social order were upheld; trade activities had many positive changes; infrastructure projects were speeded up the progress; some projects were completed and put into use.
Addressing the working, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai directed the Management Board of the Economic Zones to urgently set up the plan to build interdisciplinary check-point and to call upon the capable enterprises to invest in commercial development in border area. Chairman also approved the suggestion of the Headquarter of Border Guard on improving and upgrading the working house for the check-point of Cha Lo International Border Gate.
