At the meeting, comrade Nguyen Van Nhuong reported about the results of the fifth session of the 12th National Assembly. Accordingly, the fifth session of the 12th National Assembly was held from May 20 to June 19 2009. At this session, the National Assembly focused on examining and evaluating the implementation of socio-economic development plan and state budget; approving eleven law projects, of which five new laws and six adjusted and supplemented laws; giving ideas of six law projects; and approving five resolutions. The meeting also carried out the plan for voter contact in the provincial area. Concretely, National Assembly delegates will contact with voters at 14 places of seven districts and city on June 25-26 2009. At the places, National Assembly delegates will report to voters about the results of the fifth session of the 12th National Assembly and listen to suggestions and petitions of voters.

The meeting spent much time to discuss and approve the plan to organize and propagandize on the voter contact after the fifth session of the 12th National Assembly.
