7,000 tons of salt distributed to people affected by the storm

(Quang Binh Website) - The provincial People’s Committee on December 23 approved Decision No.3161/QD-UBND to allocate 700 tons of salt free of charge from the national reserves to Quang Binh province.

Accordingly, 70 tons of salt will be given to Le Thuy district, 110 tons to Quang Trach, 100 tons to Bo Trach, 160 tons to Tuyen Hoa, 160 tons to Minh Hoa, 80 tons to Quang Binh and 20 tons to Dong Hoi.

The localities are facing a shortage of salt after being ravaged by recent storms.

The provincial People’s Committee assigned the Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs in coordination with the State reserves in Binh Tri Thien region and the People’s Committees of districts and city to obey regulations on the distribution, management and use of the allocated salt.
