85 projects attracted in economic zones and industrial parks
(Quang Binh Portal) - According to information from the Provincial Management Board of Economic Zones, thanks to the implementation of the effective planning and investment promotion as well as the timely solving difficulties for investors, activities of economic zones (EZs) and industrial parks (IPs) in the province have seen practical efficiency.
So far, EZs and IPs have attracted 85 investment projects with a total registered capital of nearly VND48,000 billion, in which there are 04 FDI projects with a total investment of approximately VND9,240 billion.
In 2015, the province had 11 projects with a total investment of nearly VND10,575 billion, in which 8 projects were carried out procedures for granting investment license with registered capital of VND625 billion and three projects are being vertified capacity for granting investment license with a total investment of nearly VND9,950 billion.

In addition, there are currently 35 enterprises in EZs and IPs put into operation. As estimated, total revenues in 2015 achieved about VND1,644 billion, export value reached VND730 billion while VND96 billion in taxes was collected here.
In particular, the enterprises have attracted and created regular jobs for 3,521 laborers with an average income of VND4.2 million/person/month.
In the coming time, the Management Board of Economic Zones will promote reform of administrative procedures and improve policy mechanism to create favorable conditions for investors to accelerate the progress of building key projects in EZs and IPs, contributing to socio-economic development of the locality.
