A ceremony to pay tribute to martyrs sacrificed in Len Ha Cave

(Quang Binh Portal) - In order to commemorate martyrs who sacrificed their life in Len Ha Cave, the Provincial People"s Committee approved Plan No.876/KH-UBND dated June 9 on organizing a ceremony in tribute of martyrs who laid down in Len Ha Cave.
In the anti-American resistance war, Quang Binh is the land where was seriously destroyed by the US empire. Many older generations had laid down their life for the motherland and the cause of the Southern Liberation and National Reunification, including 13 soldiers of the Company 09, the regiment 134 of the Signal Arm with their silent victories and glorious sacrifices while they were on duty to ensure telecommunications in Len Ha Cave on July 2nd, 1972.

In order to commemorate martyrs who sacrificed their life in Len Ha Cave, the Provincial People's Committee approved Plan No.876/KH-UBND dated June 9 on organizing a ceremony in tribute of martyrs who laid down in Len Ha Cave.

Accordingly, a memorial ceremony, jointly hosted by the Provincial People's Committee, Ministry of Information and Communications, High Command of Telecommunications, Vietnam Television will be taken place at the stadium of Dong Le town (Tuyen Hoa district) and live broadcast on VTV1 channel in the evening of July 3rd, 2016.

Besides, a series of main activities will be also organized, including an incense-offering ceremony at Tam Co Cave and Hill 37 (on July 2nd at 08h00 am); a requiem ceremony at Len Ha Cave, Thanh Hoa commune, Tuyen Hoa district (on July 2nd at 14h00) and an incense-offering ceremony at Len Ha cave (on July 3rd at 16h00).

This is an opportunity to commemorate and respect 13 cadres and soldiers for their heroic sacrifices for national independence and reunification at Len Ha Cave, Thanh Hoa commune, Tuyen Hoa district on July 2nd 1972.

The event is also to arise the spirit of national pride, strengthen propaganda on conservation and promotion of historical values of Len Ha Cave national relic as well as spread the images of Quang Binh and promote local spriritual tourism to domestic and foreign friends...
