Quang Binh welcomed about 115,000 tourist arrivals on the occasion of April 30 and May 1
(Quang Binh Portal) - According to the information from the Department of Tourism, the province welcomed about 115,000 tourist arrivals to visit and take a rest during the holiday on the occasion of April 30 and May 1 of 2020, an increase of 4.6% compared to 2021.
Tourist places attracted many tourists coming to visit such as Phong Nha cave, Thien Duong cave, Nuoc Mooc stream, Chay river - Dark cave, the areas taking place the 5th traditional boat racing festival (Bo Trach district) and the traditional boat racing festival on Nhat Le river (Dong Hoi city). Besides, eco-tourism attractions, community tourism, and some adventure tourism products in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park also attracted tourists to visit and experience.
Three-star accommodation establishments or homestays, farm stay, and accommodation establishments in Phong Nha - Ke Bang had a room capacity of over 95%.
Especially, on April 30, at Dong Hoi Station, the charter train with more than 360 tourists of the Hanoi UNESCO Travel Club and travel businesses in Hanoi arrived in Quang Binh on train number SE17. That was the first tourist group organized according to the charter train package in 2022.
