A donation of VND 370 million to Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh
A day after the Storm.5 hit the central provinces, the Viet Nam Red Cross Central Committee assigned a mission led by Associate Professor, Doctor Phung Van Hoan, Assistant Secretary General of the Viet Nam Red Cross Central Committee paid a visit and provided a donation of VND 370 million in relief aid to flood victims in three provinces Nghe An, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh.
On October 6, the mission and the Red Cross of Quang Binh province came to three communes Quang Hung, Quang Phu and Quang Dong (Quang Trach district) where was heavily damaged by the Storm No.5. The mission handed over 300 boxes of household appliances to 300 families to help them stabilize their life. The mission also visited and granted gift to victims who suffered the losses caused by the Storm No.5.
