Participating in this conference are Representatives of Quang Binh Post and Telecommunication Department, related agencies, enterprises and computerdoms in Quang Binh province, Representatives of computerdoms in Universities and Colleges in the Central part of Vietnam, students of Maths & Informatics Faculty and all lecturers, staffs of Quang Binh University.

More than 10 themes were presented by authors themselves in this conference to introduce the newest applications of information technology in education like “Applications of Open Office software in creating digital resources to serve teaching and research” by Ma. Quach Xuan Hung, Director of Information Technology Center, Post and Telecommunication Department; “Semantic Web, Solution of Web 3.0” by Candidate for Doctorate Degree Nguyen Huu Tinh, Lecturer of Information Technology Faculty, Science College, Hue University.

The conference was really a forum for lecturers, students and computerdoms discussing, sharing knowledge, experiences to apply information technology in education, concurrently determining the new directions in exploitation of information technology achievements.

In the scope of conference, enterprises and students mutually exchanged the knowledge, skills and job opportunities for students after graduating. Truong Xuan Trade and Service Company - main sponsor for the conference, also offered a scholarship to student Nguyen Thi Lan – K48 of Maths & Informatics Faculty for overcoming difficulties to achieve the high results in study.

Speaking to conclude the conference, Dr. Bui Khac Son once again stressed the importance of application of information technology in general and application of information technology in education at the Universities in particular. He also sincerely thanked delegates and enterprises for their attention and valuable ideas to help the conference successfully.
