Attending this festival, there were 67 contestants selected from 61 Party committees and Party cells directly under the Government and Party Block. Through first round held on March 27-30, the Organization Board selected 13 best excellent contestants to attend the final round.

With various moving stories about moral mirror of Ho Chi Minh President shown by the contestants, it leaved many good sentiments in the audiences’ heart. The content of stories shows the virtue of simplicity and modesty, praises the immense love, kind-heart and good mirror of "industry and thrift, uprightness, public-spiritedness and selflessness" of Ho Chi Minh President. The competition festival is a good chance for civil servants to learn about the Uncle Ho's thought and morality, strive to enhance the qualifications, self-improve and practise the revolutionary morality, contributing to fulfilling the assigned tasks.

Closing the Competition Festival, the Organization Committee was given the first prize to Tran Thi Ngoc Hong (Department of Justice), the second prize to two contestants of Hoang Thi Anh Mai (Quang Binh Provincial Group) and Tran Chi Phuong (Department of Agriculture and Rural Development), the third prize to three contestants of Hoang Thi Nam Huong (Department of Customs), Hoang Thi Nhu Y (Department of Popularization and Training) and Dinh Thi Ngoc Huyen (Department of Post and Telecommunications) and seven encouraging prizes.
