Deputy Minister of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Van Duc had a working session with Quang Binh

(Quang Binh Website) - In the afternoon of March 26, Deputy Minister of Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Van Duc had a working session with Quang Binh leaders to inspect the State management on natural resources and environment in the provincial area.

Attending the working, there was Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Lam Phuong; Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, representative of Departments of Planning and Investment, Finance and Construction and the related units.

At the working, Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment Nguyen Xuan Tuyen reported to the Deputy Minister the situation of State management on natural resources and environment in the past years. The work of State management on land has been gradually stabilized and carried out according to legal regulations; completed the master plan for land use at provincial level in the period of 2001-2010; projected the land use for six districts and Dong Hoi city and 59 out of 159 communes; issued the certificate of land use right in the provincial area. The work of environmental protection and management of mineral resources and water resources have been carried out according to legal regulations; coordinated with local departments and branches to propagandize and popularize land law for the people; strengthened work of inspection on implementing the plan for land use; suitably used the sustainable natural resource, ensuring the ecological balance and natural preservation as well as protecting biological diversification.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Duc highly appraised the effort that the province obtained in the past time and asked the province to strengthen further the State management on environment; preserve the ecological balance, not to happen the environmental pollution and impact to the people's life in the surrounding areas. With regard to the petitions of the province, the Ministry will consider and help the province complete the plans, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development.
