He highly appraised the results that the unit obtained in the past time. He asked the cadres and soldiers to strengthen work of training in order to enhance the fighting spirit, contributing to defending political security in the provincial area; act as an advisor for the Executive Committee of the Party and alls levels of government; co-ordinate with the departments and branches to help the people develop economy, culture and society, contributing to eliminating hunger and reducing poverty as well as improving the people's living standard.

On this occasion, Senior Lieutenant-General and Deputy Minister of Defence Phan Trung Kien paid a visit to Quang Binh University and had an exchange with the staffs of cadres, lecturers and students of Quang Binh University. He applauded the efforts of all cadres, lecturers and students in the past time and hoped that Quang Binh University need to improve the qualifications for the lecturers and boost further the renovation of teaching method.

Closing the working, Senior Lieutenant-General Phan Trung Kien and his wife planted commemorative trees in the university's precinct and granted VND10 million to contribute to the university's scholarship fund.
