Program 134 invests nearly VND1bil to build irrigational system in Cua Mec village
In order to overcome difficulties in irrigational water for the people in Cua Mec village (Ngan Thuy commune, Le Thuy district) in 2007, the Program 134 invested nearly VND1bil to build a water reservoir, 1 pumping station and irrigational system with nearly 1km in width.
At present, the executive units are urgently building the project to hand over it to the people to serve the Autumn-summer crop in the next time.
Cua Mec village is 15 hectares in area under cultivation, in which about 7.5 hectares is cultivated in the Spring-winter crop, Autumn-summer crop is fallowed fully so the people's life is very difficult, especially Van Kieu ethnic minorities. Investment in building irrigational system in Cua Mec village will contribute to create favorable condition for the people to develop agricultural production.
