C.I International charitable organization (Taiwan) grants scholarships to poor pupils in Quang Binh

(Quang Binh Website) - The C.I International charitable organization (Taiwan), established by a kind-hearted group in Taiwan, is a non-governmental organization. The C.I organization has provided many humanitarian aids in Vietnam since June 1995, such as: granting scholarships to poor pupils and supporting free surgery.

In 1998, this organization provided a financial support for central poor provinces, including: Thua Thien Hue, Quang Tri and Quang Binh. In Quang Binh, the C.I International charitable organization (Taiwan) has coordinated with the Committee for Population, Families and Children of Quang Ninh district to grant scholarships to poor pupils in the district. So far, 173 pupils have given scholarships from this organization with VND240 thousand/quarter. Besides, this organization has also supported bedding, clothes, schoolthings and belongings for them. The pupils, who achieved good results in studying, won prizes in the examinations and passed the university entrance exam, have also been granted an award from VND200 to VND500 thousand.

This is a meaningful activity of the C.I organization, contributing to helping poor pupils overcome difficulties in their life and have more chances to be able to go to school.
