On behalf of the Party Committee and people of Quang Binh province, Permanent Secretary Luong Ngoc Binh wished General Vo Nguyen Giap good health and longevity to further contributing to the Party’s revolutionary cause and the development of the Vietnam People’s Army, to be the pride of Quang Binh motherland and to be a model example of the Vietnam People’s Army.

General Vo Nguyen Giap expressed his pleasure and thanks for best wishes of the provincial leaders, concurrently hoped that the province will continue to uphold all resources to promote the development of the economy, further work of poverty-alleviation, improve the people's life and especially pay much attention to work of forest protection and preservation of Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park. General Vo Nguyen Giap also sent his regards to all people, children and pupils of Quang Binh province.
