Accordingly, over the past years, the province’s growth rate has achieved fairly; some targets have reached and exceeded the set plan; investment promotion has continuously achieved good results; a lot of big changes have been seen in the social and cultural fields; the people’s life has basically been stabilized; national defence and security has been uphold. With friendly relation between Vietnam and Laos, Chairman Phuong hoped that the ambassador’s official visit to Quang Binh would contribute to further boosting friendly ties between Laos and Vietnam in general and Quang Binh in particular.

He also agreed with Chairman Phuong’s evaluation on friendly relation between two countries of Vietnam and Laos and thanked the Party Committee and people of Quang Binh were always side by side during the years for resistance war and assisted Laos in socio-economic development in the renovation process. The Ambassador hoped that Viet-Lao cooperative relationship would be further boosted in the coming time.
