Quang Binh: invest over US$3 million to develop Phong Nha - Ke Bang tourism area
(Quang Binh Website) - The Greater Mekong Subregion Tourism Development Project has recently invested about US$3.1 million to implement the tourism development project in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, said Mr. Nguyen Van Ky, Deputy Director of Department of Culture, Sport and Tourism of Quang Binh province on November 12.
Accordingly, the project will invest in infrastructure, building car parking on Ho Chi Minh Road and Son River boat station to serve tourists; train foreign language and professional knowledge for employees; invest and upgrade sewage disposal system in Phong Nha area. The project is expected to begin in early 2009 to 2013.
