Provincial People's Committee praised and rewarded enterprises for completing state budget targets for 2008

(Quang Binh Website) - In the morning of January 19 2009, the Provincial People’s Committee praised and rewarded the enterprises for completing state budget targets for 2008. Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Phan Lam Phuong presided over the meeting.

Attending the meeting were Province Vice-chairman Nguyen Dang; representative of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Council; province-level departments and branches and enterprises who excellently completed the state budget estimate for 2008.

Until December 31 2008, 1,622 enterprises and cooperatives in the whole province registered the tax enumeration and payment. Over the past year, the enterprises paid 307 billion VND, making up 38%, increasing 18% against the assigned forecast and increasing nearly 12% against the same period of 2007. Of which, the central state enterprises paid 109 billion VND, reached 117.2% against the assigned forecast, increasing 17% compared with the same period. Typically, the Quang Binh Petroleum Company paid 10.2 billion VND, achieved 267% against the forecast; the Viettel Company paid 1.7 billion VND, achieved 134.2%; the Bank for Investment and Development - Quang Binh Branch paid 1.4 billion VND, achieved 134.6%; the Gianh River COSEVCO Cement Company paid 44.8 billion VND, achieved 121.3%; the Quang Binh Railway Management Company paid 3 billion VND, achieved 111.7%... The local state enterprises contributed 110 billion VND to the budget, reached 117.1% compared with the assigned estimate, up to 22.4% against the same period, typically the Sai Gon - Quang Binh Tourism Joint-stock Company paid 1.4 billion VND, reached 163.5%; the Quang Binh North Forestry and Industry Company paid 3.3 billion VND, reached 121.8%; the Gianh River Company paid 2 billion VND, reached 117.4%; the Ha Noi - Quang Binh Beer Company paid 75.3 billion VND, reached 115.8%; the Viet Trung Rubber Company paid 9.7 billion VND, reached 106.6%; the Long Dai Forestry and Industry Company paid 7.9 billion VND, reached 102.1%;... The non-state enterprises paid 54 billion VND to the state budget, reached 104% the assigned estimate, increased 37% against the same period, typically the Son Hai Construction Company paid 6.1 billion VND, reached 170.8% against the estimate; the Quang Ninh Construction Company paid 1.2 billion VND, reached 169.5%; the Building Materials and Production Joint-stock Company No.1-5 paid 3.3 billion VND, reached 147.2%; the Dong Hoi Construction Limited Company paid 1.2 billion VND, reached 118.4%; the Quang Binh Pharmacy Joint-stock Company paid 1.1 billion VND, reached 108%;...

 

Awarding Certificate of Merit to excellent enterprises for their brilliant achievements

Addressing the meeting, Province Chairman Phan Lam Phuong praised the effort of all enterprises in the whole province and asked all levels and branches, especially enterprises to give prominence to their responsibility in implementing Resolution No.30/2008/NQ-CP of the Government dated December 11, 2008 on urgent measures to actively prevent economic downturn, maintain economic growth and ensure social protection; focus on solving difficulties for the enterprises, creating favorable condition for them to reinforce and develop production; strengthen propaganda of the tax policies to improve the awareness of paying tax of the enterprises. He also appealed to enterprises for expanding investment and business production, improving economic effectiveness and competition of commodities and services, contributing to complete the state budget estimate for 2009.

Granting bonus to enterprises for excellent achievements 

On this occasion, Province Chairman Phan Lam Phuong awarded Certificate of Merit to 9 excellent enterprises. The Provincial People’s Committee extracted nearly VND300 million from the state budget to grant to 45 enterprises for their brilliant achievements in paying the state budget, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
