International Panel discussion titled ''Biodiversity and Development''
(Quang Binh Website) – On June 04, in Dong Hoi City, the General Department of Environment under the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources in coordination with the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources and the GTZ held an international panel discussion titled “Biodiversity and Development”. The event drew more than 150 experts and scientists in and outside the country.

At the seminar, scientists, experts and representatives of the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park exchanged related information and figures to better study about economic values and biodiversity of world natural heritage – Phong Nha – Ke Bang national park, then took the effective measures and actions to preserve biodiversity.
Especially, the seminar discussed about sustainable tourism development through a cavern system of the Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park as well as its opportunities and challenges to manage and protect sustainable cavern system.
