Press conference on the 310th anniversary of Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh’s death
At the press conference, the Board of Organization represented the organization plan for the 310th anniversary of Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh’s death. Under the plan, the event will be taken place on June 19, 2010 at four locations: Nguyen Huu Canh’s tomb area (Quang Binh), Ly Thai To statue (Ha Noi), Nguyen Huu Canh street (Ho Chi Minh city) and Binh Kinh temple (Dong Nai). The programme will live broadcast on Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh, Quang Binh, An Giang and Dong Nai televisions and VTV4 channel. This is a official event in the frame of the big festival of 1000 years old of Thang Long Hanoi.
The programme aims to honour the credits of Le Thanh Hau Nguyen Huu Canh for expanding Viet Nam’s territories to the south and laying the foundation for the city of Sai Gon. Besides, the programme also contributes to awakening the local potentials and promoting the propaganda of local culture and economy in the context of integration and development.
