In the past time, the movement “All people unite to build cultural life” has obtained practical results. In 2009, there were 145,181 families granted the title “cultural family” and 2,435 families granted the title “typical cultural family” at all levels. The movement contributed to promoting socio-economic development in localities, strengthening the solidarity and consolidating the system of cultural institute at grassroots level.

Praise 18 exemplary cultural families in 2010

At the meeting, the exemplary cultural families shared experience in taking care of their families and children, doing good business and making a great contribution to the community.

Addressing the meeting, Permanent Vice-chairman Tran Cong Thuat warmly praised the achievements that the exemplary families obtained in 2010 and highlighted that this was an opportunity to exchange experience in taking care of family and to give prominence to cultural values. Vice-chairman also expressed his hope that each family need to raise the responsibility in developing human characters.

On this occasion, the Department of Culture – Sport and Tourism granted certificate of merit to 18 exemplary families in 2010.
