Provincial leaders burnt incense to pay tribute of heroic martyrs

(Quang Binh Website) - On the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27th, 1947 – July 27th, 2010), on the evening of July 26, 2010, the leaders of the Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Binh province; leaders of departments and branches, organizations and localities in the province and nearly 1400 youth members burnt incense and candles to pay tribute of heroic martyrs at the Ba Doc martyrs' cemetery (Bo Trach district).

Provincial leaders in memory of heroic martyrs

This is an annual activity to express the younger generations’ gratitude to heroes, the families of war invalids and martyrs, as well as all people who performed significant services to the nation’s revolutionary cause.

It is known that nearly two ten thousand of youth members lighted incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at 82 martyrs’ cemetery in the provincial area.

Lighting candles to pay tribute of heroic martyrs

On the afternoon of the same day, the Quang Binh provincial Buddhist Association also held a requiem ceremony for heroic martyrs at the Ba Doc martyrs’ cemetery.
