The project of construction of Quang Binh limestone processing plant, invested by the Dong Bac Coal Mineral Investment Corporation, is built in hamlet 2, Kim Hoa commune, Tuyen Hoa district, Quang Binh province, aiming at mining and producing limestone products. The project has an area of 20 ha with a total of investment capital of VND600 billion, of which VND366 billion for the first phase. Once to be operational, the Quang Binh limestone processing plant will pay more than VND100 billion a year to the State budget. Under the plan, the plant will be expected to put into operation in the IV quarter of 2010.

Addressing the meeting, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai highlighted that this project will bring Quang Binh province a high economic effectiveness. He also asked the investor to supplement some issues like electricity, transportation, the planning map of the plant, the result of environmental effect appraisal… and collect the ideas of related sectors and localities to complete the project before summiting to the provincial People’s Committee for approval.
