Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee inspects work of overcoming the flood aftermath in Lien Trach commune (Bo Trach)

Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai inspects situation of the flood in Lien Trach commune |
In the past historical flood, Lien Trach commune was one of localities suffering greatest losses in Bo Trach district. The commune had 5 people dead and 3 injured; 4 houses were swept away and 2 houses were collapsed; 810 out of 940 houses were deeply submerged; 400 tonnes of rice were flooded; 45 buffaloes, 2,000 pigs and 4,000 chickens and ducks were swept away; some projects were damaged heavily.
On the behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman Nguyen Huu Hoai sent his profound condolences to families whose relatives were killed and property was lost during by the foods; encouraged people soon overcome consequences of the flood and stabilize their lives.
Chairman Hoai asked local authorities to assist families with dead and injured persons, support flood victims so that no one is left hungry or gets sick because of the catastrophe, as well as focus on environmental hygiene to prevent disease occurrence, help local people stabilize their lives as soon as possible.
