Provincial People’s Committee: strengthen relief work to overcome flood consequences and resume the people’s life in flood hit areas

Over the past time, Quang Binh province has promptly distributed rice and money in relied aid from the Central Committee and the province’s budget to flood-hit localities to help people overcome flood consequences.
According to the Provincial Relief Committee, as of October 31, more than 350 organizations and individuals donated money and goods in relief aid with the total value of VND58.4 billion to flood-hit people, contributing to helping local people stabilize their life.
At the meeting, Head of the Provincial Committee for Flood and Storm Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue asked localities and sectors to strengthen relief work to overcome flood consequences; check volume of relief goods in stock to carry out distribution for flood hit people; closely coordinate with organizations and individuals to create favorable condition for sponsors to timely distribute goods to flood hit people. Vice-chairman Nguyen Xuan Quang also praised the efforts made by all sectors, departments and localities in overcoming flood consequences and helping flood hit people stabilize their life.
