Japan shoots a 3D film about Son Doong Cave

(Quang Binh Website) - A group of filmmakers of Kyodo news agency (Japan) on May 8 paid a visit to Quang Binh to shoot a scientific documemtary about Son Dong, the world’s largest cave.

A member of the film-crew said that this is the first 3D scientific film about caves. The film will demonstrate the beauty and value of Son Doong, the world’s largest cave, which has been recently promulgated by BBC News.

The film-crew includes 12 members with the participation of experts from the British Royal Cave Society and a local man, Ho Khanh, who discovered Son Doong cave. The film-crew will officially make a film from May 9 to 23.

The film will also focus on the lives of creatures living in the massive cave and the surrounding forests. The film will be expected to be broadcast in 160 countries and territories by the end of year 2011.
