VND 11.7 billion invested in clean water supply for Quang Binh
Clean water supply systems in three communes in Quang Binh province with a total investment of VND 11.7 billion were put into operation on June 20.
Nearly 8,000 people of Huong Hoa commune in Tuyen Hoa district, Quang Kim commune in Quang Trach district and Xuan Trach commune in Bo Trach district are the beneficiaries.
According to the project’s investor - the Quang Binh province Centre for Clean Water Supply and Environmental Sanitation - the old systems in those communes had been unusable for a long time, causing a shortage of clean, safe water for thousands of people, especially during the hot season.
