The event was attended by Standing Vice-chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee (PPC) Nguyen Xuan Quang, Vice-chairman of PPC Nguyen Dang; Mr. Khambay Damlat, Governor of Khammouane province; Mr. Oday Sudaphon, Deputy Governor of Khammouane Province and representatives of agencies and localities of two provinces.

Inauguration of guest house project of Khammouane province in Dong Hoi city

The project, located in Quang Phu commune (Dong Hoi city), is the outcome of cooperation between two provinces of Khammouane and Quang Binh. The project has a total area of 10,795 square meters, including three floors with 50 rooms, a restaurant which has the capacity of 150 guests, and other essential services. The total investment is estimated at around VND26.4 billion.

Delivering his speech at the ceremony, Standing Vice-chairman Nguyen Xuan Quang affirmed that the construction would create favorable conditions for officials from Laos to Quang Binh for visiting and working. The project would also contribute to boosting the co-operative and friendly relations between the two countries. Vice-chairman expressed his hope that the project's investor and contractors need to speed up the progress of implementation to quickly complete the project. On the side of Quang Binh province, Vice-chairman promised that the province would direct the relevant units and localities to create all favorable conditions for Khammouane province to implement the project as scheduled plan.
