Ajinomoto Vietnam: grants two houses of affection and 20 scholarships

(Quang Binh Website) - On August 13, the provincial Women's Union in coordination with the Ajinomoto Vietnam Company granted two houses of affection, worth VND50 million, to solitary beneficiaries in Tuyen Hoa district.

Beneficiaries are Hoang Thi Canh, born in 1930, in the village of Duc Phu, Duc Hoa commune and Nguyen Thi Kinh, born in 1922, in the village of Thiet Son, Thach Hoa commune, Tuyen Hoa district.

On this occasion, the provincial Women's Union also coordinated with the Ajinomoto Vietnam Company to grant 20 scholarships, worth VND 1 million each, to poor and studious pupils in communes of Nam Hoa and Son Hoa (Tuyen Hoa district).

Addressing the ceremony, General Director of Ajinomoto Vietnam Toshiyuki Nakane said in addition to activities in doing business, Ajinomoto Vietnam Company always pays interest in social activities and considers it as an indispensable activity of the Company. Ajinomoto Vietnam hoped that this donation would contribute to help and share difficulties with people of Quang Binh in particular and of Vietnam in general.

Established in 1991, Ajinomoto Vietnam Company is a member of the Japanese Ajinomoto Group, specializing in production and business in foodstuff field with various products matching the taste of many Vietnamese people such as: Ajinomoto monosodium glutamate, Ajinomoto Plus, LISA Rice vinegar, LISA Mayonnaise, dry broken rice starch Aji Quick for crispy frying, etc.

In 2011, the Company donates VND1 billion to social activities to contribute to improve the spiritual and material life for disadvantaged families.
