Production value of rural trades in the period of 2006-2010 reached 1,117.2 billion dong

(Quang Binh Website) - Implementing Decree No.66/2006/ND-CP of Prime Minister providing for a number of policies on development of rural trades, Quang Binh province focused on conservation and development of trades and traditional trade villages, contributing to shifting economic structure in rural areas.

The province has now 14 trade villages and 10 traditional trade villages recognized with 27,010 establishments which attract the participation of over 51,140 rural laborers in production.

Production value of rural industries in the period of 2006-2010 reached 1,117.2 billion dong, the average growth rate reached 13.7%/year. Of which, processing agricultural, forestry and aquatic products reached 191 billion dong, making up 17.09% of value, up 13.35%; producing construction materials, wood, rattan, bamboo and mechanical engineering reached 390 billion dong, making up 35% of the value, up 13.88%; construction and transport services and other services serving rural production and daily life reached 531 billion dong, making up 47.53%, up 15.11%.
