Over VND45.6 billion donate to ''Fund for the Poor''
Of which, nearly VND5.5 billion is from the fund at provincial level; VND1.15 billion from the fund at district and more than VND39 billion from organizations and enterprises. This source of fund has been timely allocated to build and repair 1,436 houses for poor households with a total cost of VND17.4 billion and cover costs of social security with the total money of VND27.7 billion.
In addition, the Provincial Relief Committee has delivered nearly VND10.8 billion to delete temporary houses for difficult households, especially poor households in flood areas with the total money of over VND7.5 billion (VND5 million/house); provided nearly VND1.4 billion in relief aid to flood victims in October and November of 2011.
The obtained results of the campaign have contributed to completing the program to delete temporary houses for poor households and reducing rate of poor households by 21.13%.
