After three years of implementation, the programme has basically completed and obtained remarkable results. The province has nearly 6,000 poor households who are given a support with stable and safe accommodation, creating favorable condition for households to develop production, improve their life and escape the poverty.

According to statistics, the localities have completed 100% of the programme including Minh Hoa (680 houses), Tuyen Hoa (415 houses), Le Thuy (768 houses), Quang Ninh (612 houses) and Dong Hoi (28 houses); Quang Trach has completed 1,529/1572 houses, reaching 97.2% and Bo Trach has completed 1,892/2,005 houses, reaching 94.4%.

Speaking at the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Quang praised obtained results of all levels, agencies and localities in the implementation of the programme on housing support to poor households over the past time.

He also straightly pointed out shortcomings in building houses for poor households and asked relevant agencies and localities to closely coordinate and effectively implement the programme in the coming time.

Presenting certificate of merit to collectives for their excellent achievements

On this occasion, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee awarded certificate of merit to 07 collectives and 07 individuals for their excellent achievements in the implementation of the programme on housing support to poor households according to Decision No.167/2008/QD-TTg of Prime Minister.
