General Staff presents 11 houses to beneficiaries
From December 12th to 14th, a working delegation from the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, led by Lieutenant-General Vo Van Tuan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, presented ten houses of gratitude to policy beneficiaries in the provinces of Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien-Hue, and a comradeship house to Major Nguyen Thanh Tung from Military Command in Huong Tra Town, Thua Thien-Hue province.
Beneficiaries include martyrs’ wives and war invalids.
The event is one of the meaningful activities of the General Staff to mark the 68th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (December 22nd 1944) and the 23rd celebration of the Whole People's Defence Festive Day (December 22nd, 1989).
