Vice Chairman of the provincial People's Committee presents flower to Deputy UNFPA Representative in Vietnam

On behalf of provincial leaders, PPC Vice Chairman Tran Tien Dung expressed his pleasure to welcome Deputy UNFPA Representative in Vietnam on her working visit to Quang Binh to inspect the project on strengthening the health system of Quang Binh province in order to improve universal access to reproductive health and family planning.

Vice Chairman briefly introduced about potentials, strengths and socio-economic development results of the provincce. In the forthcoming time, he hoped that UNFPA Office will continue creating conditions for the province to adjust some activities of the project in accordance with practical situation of the locality.

At the reception, Deputy UNFPA Representative in Vietnam highly appreciated the province's efforts in the implementation of the project, saying that this is the first time Quang Binh has been funded by UNFPA, therefore, UNFPA Office will create the best conditions to effectively implement the project.

After the reception, Deputy UNFPA Representative in Vietnam aslo had a meeting with the Management Board of the Project "Strengthening the health system of Quang Binh province in order to improve universal access to reproductive health and family planning" and carried out a survey of the project at some localities.
