Delegates cut ribbons to open the 2017 North Central Region Agricultural - Trade Exhibition Fair

Attending the event was Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Quang; temporary director of the National Agricultural Policy Center Tran Van Khoi; representatives of related departments and agencies and others.

The event, which is jointly held by the National Agricultural Policy Center in coordination with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Industry and Trade, has brought together nearly 300 booths, of which 80 booths displaying agricultural products from enterprises inside and outside the North Central region.

A series of high quality products and specialties from provinces in North Central Vietnam are being displayed. They include agricultural products, aquatic products, household goods, consumer goods, cosmetics, plant protection products, agricultural machinery, industrial products, products from craft villages among others.

Especially, some agricultural products of Quang Binh are highly appreciated such as mushrooms, cassava, cassava starch, An Nong green vegetable, Le Thuy rice, Song Gianh fertilizer, etc.

The event provides an opportunity for businesses, craft villages and producers in North Central Region to meet and discuss practices as well as promote their products and seek partners.

Furthermore, the fair intends to introduce socio-economic achievements, potentials, advantages and preferential policies of participating provinces and cities to attract investment and boost tourism.

It is also expected to foster ties between Quang BInh and provinces in the North Central region.

The trade exhibition fair will conclude on August 10th.
