The event is co-organised by the Quang Binh Provincial Department of Culture and Sport and Hanoi Offroad Club.

Considered one of the country's toughest off-road challenges, it has attracted 24 teams with nearly 50 participants from provinces and cities across the country such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Danang, Binh Phuoc, Ha Tinh and Quang Binh. Especially, there is the participation of an international team from Vientiane capital (Laos).

From October 22-29, the teams will show off their skills in two competitions on sand terrain at the beach in Bao Ninh commune (from the Gold Coast Hotel to Nhat Le 2 Hotel) and on natural terrain at Truong Son afforestation yards (belong to Long Dai Forestry and Industry Company, Ltd).

In particular, the organising board and Hanoi Offroad Club will organise some activities to raise fund for the poor and fund for sponsoring disabled people and orphan children in the province.

RFC Vietnam 2017 - Quang Binh is an useful playground to take physical exercises and improve the safe driving skills.

This is a good opportunity for Quang Binh province to spread the images of local culture, people and tourism to domestic and foreign friends as well as to attract a large number of potential tourists to the province.

It is known that RFC Vietnam is the only professional motorsport tournament in the country, held under the world’s most demanding 4×4 extreme off-road events in Malaysia.

It was organised for the first time in the northern province of Quang Ninh in 2013.
