Receive USD 30,000 of non-refundable aid from Roots of Peace
Accordingly, the Roots of Peace decided to donate a non-refundable aid, worth USD 30,000, aiming to timely support for disaster-hit farmers and difficult households through the project of giving cattles for the farmers in Bo Trach district. The project's duration is carried out in 2018.
The Provincial People's Committee asked Bo Trach district in coordination with the related units and localities to timely receive and effectively use an foreign non-governmental aid from the Roots of Peace in accordance with State regulations on managing and using foreign non-governmental aids and other rules.
Operating in Vietnam since 2010, Roots of Peace is an US's non-governmental organisation, aiming to give a support for people to improve income through the project of sustainable agricultural development for the beneficiaries from the provincial level to district and commune levels.
In the past time, Roots of Peace has made many efforts in enhancing the role of economic life for people living in the landmine-contaminated areas.
