On the evening of July 20, Quang Binh province opened Cave Festival with the theme "Quang Binh - Endless Mystery" lasting for a month.

At the ceremony; Mr. Ngo Quang Xuan, Former Vietnamese Ambassador to the United Nations, Vice President of Vietnam Record Association; awarded the record certificate “The cave has the most unique and magnificent system of stalactites and stalagmites in Asia” for Paradise Cave.

This is one of famous caves in the world belonging to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park in Quang Binh, far from Dong Hoi city about 60 kilometers to the Northwest. Located in the primitive forest at an altitude of 360 meters above the sea level, the cave is 31.4 kilometers long, first discovered by the British Caving Association in 2005. Currently, it is run and exploited by Truong Thinh Tourist One Member Liability Company.

In 2011, Paradise Cave was also awarded a record certificate by the Vietnam Record Organization: The long dry cave has the most unique stalactite system and the longest wooden bridge in Vietnam.

As part of a range of activities in the Quang Binh Cave Festival 2019, the local tourism launches a program to stimulate domestic tourism, offers discounts between 10 and 20 percent in ticket price for tourists when coming to Quang Binh until August 20.
