Department of Post and Telecommunications held a talk on the Importance of Information and Technology in present society
In the morning on September 18 2007, at the meeting-hall of Department of Science and Technology, Associate Pro, DSc Nguyen Xuan Huy, Head of Vietnamese Academy of Information and Technology (IT) gave a talk on "Importance of Information and Technology in the present society" with the attendance of officials in charge of informatics coming from provincial departments and branches.
Its main aim is to approve 4 contents, including: technology, human, education and training, exchange. Associate Professor, Doctor of Science Nguyen Xuan Huy put forward the prominent achievements of IT in the fields of society, asserted the important role of IT in the process of industrialization and modernization.
At the talk, many officials asked questions relevant to the contents of above topic and the Associate Professor answered them clearly.
