Quang Ninh District launches anti-malaria campaign 2009
(Quang Binh Website) - The Preventive Health Center of Quang Ninh District in cooperation with the District Military Steering Committee has lately launched the anti-malaria campaign 2009 in Truong Xuan commune.
At the ceremony, the officials of the Quang Ninh District Preventive Health Center and medical cell of the district military steering committee organized a travelling tour to go to hamlets and villages with the slogan "the whole people actively prevent malaria"; carried out a medical check-up and issued anti-malaria medicine free for local people and sprayed chemicals to kill mosquitoes in Khe Day village.
It is known that this is an activity to raise the awareness of anti-malaria and health protection for the people, especially ethnic minority people in Truong Xuan commune.
