Thousands of houses flooded in Quang Binh
More than 17,000 houses have been deeply submerged following heavy rain triggered by the Storm Trami in the central province of Quang Binh.

Quang Binh Province reported rainfall reaching up to 700 mm in some areas in Le Thuy and Quang Ninh districts.

According to a report from the Quang Binh Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control and Search and Rescue, as of the afternoon of October 28, more than 17,000 local houses had been flooded including over 12,000 in Le Thuy and nearly 5,000 in Quang Ninh.

People in Duy Ninh Commune had to move their assets to avoid the flooding.

The serious flooding has damaged 69 sections of roads in the area.

Traffic police arrived to evacuate people from their flooded houses to a safe area in Duy Ninh Commune on October 28.
