Signing ceremony of record of discussion on project for capacity development of Quang Binh Vocational College

(Quang Binh Portal) - On February 25, the Provincial People"s Committee held a sigining ceremony of record of dicussion on the project for the capacity development of Quang Binh Vocational College with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (hereinafter referred to as "KOICA"). Attending the ceremony was Mr. Tran Tien Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People"s Committee, Mr. Chang Jae-yun, Country Director of KOICA Vietnam; representative of related agencies and units.


Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Country Director of KOICA Vietnam signed a record of the project for the capacity development of Quang Binh Vocational College

The project for the capacity development of Quang Binh Vocational College is under collaborative framework between the Republic of Korea's grant and loan in ODA, aiming to train skilled technicians to meet industrial demand in Quang Binh province and surrounding areas, to upgrade occupational and instructional skills of vocational teachers in Quang Binh Vocational College.

Accordingly, the Korean government shall provide grant aid of no less than 500,000 US dollars within its budget for the project to cover the expenses for reparing and providing materials and equipement; training vocational teachers of Quang Binh Vocational College to improve their occupational and instructional skills. Duration for implementing the project lasts 01 year (2016).

On behalf of provincial leader, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committe expressed his pleasure to welcome the KOICA's delegation to Quang Binh province and sent his best wishes to all members a happy New Year.

Vice Chairman highly avaluated cooperative relations between the Korean goverment and Vietnam in general, and Quang Binh in particular, affirming the importance of the project to development of human resource of the province, contributing to promoting socio-economic development in the province.

In coming time, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that KOICA will continuously strengthen assistance of Korean businesses in seeking investment opportunities in Quang Binh province.
He pledged that the province will create favorable conditions for Korean businesses from investment survey to the implementation of the project.

Speaking at the ceremony, Country Director of KOICA Vietnam hopes that related agencies and units will coordinate with KOICA to effectively implement activities of the project, contributing to improving quality of vocational training and human resource in the province.
